bulletin on Higher Education funding which provides information on
current European funding programmes and calls for proposals for
higher education and international activity from a variety of
different sources outside those of the European Framework Programme
for Research (FP7).

authored by John Fielden of CHEMS Consulting, focuses specifically
on transnational education (TNE), branch campuses and the
management of offshore activities. The guide is an invaluable tool
for UK universities and higher education institutions involved in
TNE.

The UK HE International Unit has produced a number of case
studies providing information on a range of projects supported by
European Union funding programmes outside the 7th
Framework Programme. This report provides a synthesis of these case
studies, summarising the activities undertaken, the lessons
learned, and the benefits of transnational collaboration
identified. Individual case studies will be featured in the monthly
European HE Funding Bulletin.
